Rather than throwing broken and old bamboo in the trash, Heavenly’s Ski Patrol collected it all season and then recycled it at South Lake Tahoe’s Materials Recovery Center.
By taking the extra step, Ski Patrol kept 710 pounds of material out of the waste stream and now that bamboo will have a second life!
